COLLEGE : Haylock’s 25 Points Leads CSLA Over San Bernardino

Senior forward Tyrone Haylock went 11 for 11 at the free-throw line as Cal State Los Angeles turned around a 10-point deficit to capture a 64-58 victory over Cal State San Bernardino.
Trailing 45-35, the Golden Eagles went on a 19-9 run to tie the score. Capitalizing on Rodney Harris’ steal, the Golden Eagles took a 56-54 lead on Haylock’s dunk with 10 minutes remaining.
Haylock led the team with 25 points, including four consecutive free throws with 1:39 remaining to secure the win.
With the score tied 27-27 at halftime, the Golden Eagles converted 17 of 19 free throws. Junior Lorenzo Ball contributed 14 points and eight rebounds.
Aaron Lattimore had seven points to move into 20th on the all-time Cal State Los Angeles scoring list. Lattimore needed two points entering the game.
Lou Williams led Cal State San Bernardino with 21 points.
Records: CSSB 15-7, CSLA 14-7.
