Collision Kills Bicyclist, 13
HUNTINGTON BEACH — A 13-year-old bicyclist was killed Friday when he was struck by a truck while crossing the street, police said.
Kyung Ho Park was crossing Hamilton Avenue at the intersection with Bushard Street at 2:44 p.m., when he was hit by a truck traveling eastbound on Hamilton by a 41-year-old Riverside man. Park was killed instantly.
The accident is under investigation, but the truck driver was not cited, according to Sgt. William Stuart.
