The Police Department and the Mayor’s Drug Task Force will hold a community forum at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss drugs in the city.
The primary focus of the meeting will be the methamphetamine trend that police officials say is sweeping the San Gabriel Valley.
Topics will include how to recognize a methamphetamine laboratory in your neighborhood and the signs of a methamphetamine user.
Speakers will include experts from the state Department of Justice’s Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, the Police Department, the Foothill Community Mental Health Center and an adviser from Friday Night Live, a group dedicated to providing alternatives to drugs and alcohol for local youths.
The meeting will be at the Bidwell Forum on the second floor of Glendora City Library, 140 S. Glendora Ave.
