Three Teams Set Tryout Camps

The Angels, Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves have announced times and locations for replacement player tryout camps in Southern California.
--The Angels have scheduled camps for Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. at Cal State Fullerton. Amateur players ages 20-24 report Friday; former pro players report Saturday. Players must not have college eligibility and must bring ID and equipment.
--The Blue Jays have scheduled camps for 10 a.m. Saturday at Long Beach City College and 10 a.m. Sunday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. The camps are open to players ages 19-24 with no college eligibility.
--The Braves’ camp is scheduled for noon today at Grossmont College in El Cajon. Only professional players who have been recently released or retired should attend.
