Memorial services have been set for Charles E. Lee, a 22-year faculty member at Orange Coast College.
Lee died in December after a long bout with Parkinson’s disease. He was 77.
Orange Coast College officials said Lee joined the faculty in 1962 and retired in 1984. He was an avid sports fan and athlete, and served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years.
Family members have set a memorial service for the popular psychology professor and college counselor at 2 p.m. Sunday. It will be held at the Marine Chapel at the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.
In lieu of flowers, family members ask that donations be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Assn., 351 Hospital Road, Suite 106, Newport Beach, Calif. 92663.
