Four Killed in Protests Over Failed Liberia Talks

MONROVIA, Liberia — At least four people were killed in demonstrations in Monrovia Saturday after the latest peace initiative collapsed, security sources said.
An angry crowd stormed the U.N. compound, they said. The dead included a girl run over by a vehicle of the African peacekeeping force, two civilians and a security guard killed in a grenade attack on a political party headquarters.
