CEO of Denny’s Parent Resigns, Remains Chairman: Jerry Richardson, who was also president of Flagstar Cos., will be replaced in those positions by James B. Adamson, formerly CEO of Burger King Corp. Adamson will be succeeded at Burger King, a Miami-based subsidiary of British conglomerate Grand Metropolitan, by David Nash. Nash is Burger King’s chairman and the CEO of Grand Met’s food operations. Richardson said he decided to relinquish his executive duties at Spartanburg, S.C.-based Flagstar to devote more time to the Carolina Panthers professional football franchise, which he co-owns.
