Villa Park 68, Orange 35--Reserve Withelmina Yap scored 11 points in the first quarter as host Villa Park (8-6, 1-1) opened a 24-6 lead. Yap finished with 13 points.

In the Golden West League:

Ocean View 53, Saddleback 40--Jennifer Tuilosega had 14 points and seven assists and Becky Fraser had 14 points and 14 rebounds for host Ocean View (9-7, 2-0).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Hills 36, Estancia 31--Tayyiba Haneef scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half for Laguna Hills (12-3, 2-0). Haneef, a 6-foot-5 sophomore center, also had 13 blocks and nine rebounds.

Costa Mesa 54, Aliso Niguel 37--Koo Kim scored 17 points and had nine steals and Erin Brown added 14 points for 10th-ranked Costa Mesa (12-4, 2-0).

Woodbridge 72, Corona del Mar 38--Second-ranked Woodbridge (15-1, 2-0) led, 28-1, after the first quarter. Krissy Duperron led the Warriors with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Trabuco Hills 67, Dana Hills 55--LaShieka Henderson scored 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Dyanna Hatch had 24 points for Trabuco Hills (13-4, 1-1).

In Empire League Wrestling:

Loara 34, El Dorado 22--Richard Meza, in the 145-pound class, pinned his opponent in 27 seconds to lead Loara (9-1, 1-0). El Dorado is 0-1 in league.

Mission Viejo 40, San Clemente 18--David Alexander’s overtime takedown at 125 led 10th-ranked Mission Viejo (20-7, 2-0) over ninth-ranked San Clemente.
