Quake Memories
It’s been nearly a year since the Northridge earthquake changed forever the lives of people in and around the San Fernando Valley. The Valley Edition would like to hear how the quake has affected the lives of its readers. In 300 words or less, share with us your most indelible memory of the quake. Or tell us how life has changed since the earth shook that day last Jan. 17. Selected essays will be printed as the anniversary approaches.
Please send essays to Quake Memories, Los Angeles Times, 20000 Prairie St., Chatsworth CA 91311, or fax to (818) 772-3338. Essays must be received by Jan. 10 and must include a return address and daytime telephone number.
