New Post: Kate Keena has left as executive director of the South Orange County Chambers of Commerce to become Assemblywoman Marilyn C. Brewer’s chief of staff.
Keena had been with the chambers for three years. Brewer was newly elected in November, and her 70th District covers several cities in South County.
Barbara Thomas has been appointed interim executive director of the South Orange County Chambers of Commerce, which has 860 members and is the umbrella group for the chambers in Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita.
