GenCorp Confirms Aerojet on Block: The conglomerate said it is negotiating with certain unidentified bidders that have proposed buying all or part of the division, a struggling maker of rocket engines and defense electronics with plants in Azusa and Sacramento. GenCorp, based in Fairlawn, Ohio, had said in August that it was evaluating what to do with Aerojet, and now “its first priority is to pursue the divestiture” of the unit, the company said. GenCorp said it hopes to conclude any deal “in the shortest possible time.”
