4 Post Offices Plan Extra Hours Sunday

Four post offices in Ventura County will open Sunday and Dec. 18 to help shorten lines during the U. S. Postal Service’s busiest time of the year, officials said.

The four offices open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays are: the East Ventura Station, 41 S. Wake Forest Ave.; Oxnard main office, 1961 N. C St.; Simi Valley main office, 2551 N. Galena Ave., and the Thousand Oaks main office, 3435 Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Those offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except the Oxnard office, which remains open until 6 p.m. All four offices are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
