In another tournament game:
Trabuco Hills 57, Villa Park 37--A 20-8 run in the second quarter put away Villa Park (3-1). Dyanna Hatch led Trabuco Hills (4-1) with 18 points.
In the Rancho Bernardo girls’ basketball tournament:
Mater Dei 76, San Diego Morse 36--Margaret Hollis scored nine of her 13 points in the first quarter as Mater Dei (2-0) built a 33-4 lead. Melody Peterson had a team-high 23 points.
In the San Marcos tournament:
Santa Barbara 52, Tustin 50--Katie Scheuerman scored 16 points, including four three-pointers, for Tustin (2-3).
In nonleague play:
Anaheim 58, Connelly 56 (2 OT)--Mahogany McClelland had the winning basket for Anaheim (2-4). Teammate Stephanie Durrett, who scored 32, sank two free throws with seven seconds left in regulation to tie the score. A three-pointer by Connelly’s Rowena Rana forced the second overtime.
Century 54, Sunny Hills 37--Nina Alexander scored 22 points for host Century (3-2). Randi Kameoka led Sunny Hills with 25.
Magnolia 58, Kennedy 53--Andrea Pichi scored 19 points for Magnolia (4-0); Erryn Gutjahr scored 20 for Kennedy (3-2).
Marina 61, Long Beach Poly 57--Sonya Bryant had a career-high 23 points and Shandy Robbins added 14 for visiting Marina (5-0).
Santa Ana 53, Loara 31--Letty Gil had 18 points, including four three-pointers, to lead Santa Ana (4-0).
Norwalk Pioneer Baptist 54, Fairmont 46--Sara Mohkami had 23 points for Fairmont in its first girls’ game in school history. Katy Barstow added eight points and 12 rebounds.
