Santa Barbara Applied Research, a Ventura defense contractor, plans to expand its operations on Alessandro Drive.
The company, which opened its offices in Ventura in the 1980s, needs more space as a result of increased business, according to Jim Gloyd, a broker with Grubb & Ellis Co.
