Hollywood 21, Verdugo Hills 12--Running back Jevonni Walton carried 21 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns to lead Hollywood at Verdugo Hills.
Hollywood clinched a berth in the City Section 3-A playoffs, the first for the Sheiks since 1981.
Walton, who also intercepted a pass, scored on runs of eight and two yards to help Hollywood (5-5, 4-3) take a 21-0 lead.
Verdugo Hills (1-7-1, 1-5-1) rallied for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Quarterback David Kelly connected with Ryan Brouchet on a 12-yard scoring pass with 4:13 left, then hit Alex Trevino for a nine-yard touchdown two minutes later. Both two-point conversion attempts failed.
Kelly completed eight of 16 passes for 94 yards and had two passes intercepted. Brouchet caught four passes for 80 yards.
