Long Beach State Rolls by UC Irvine

Long Beach State defeated UC Irvine, 15-2, 15-10, 15-3, in a Big West Conference women’s volleyball match Tuesday at Long Beach and moved into a first-place tie with Hawaii.
Traci Dahl and Nichelle Burton each had 14 kills for the 49ers (20-4, 14-2), who have won the last three conference titles. Popi Edwards had nine kills for the Anteaters (6-18, 5-11).
Long Beach finishes the conference season with matches at San Jose State on Friday and Pacific on Saturday.
