School Trustee Should Resign

Orange Unified School District Trustee Max Reissmueller was correct when stating that Chapman Hills Elementary School is a wonderful school and Kathy Kessler is an excellent principal.
I couldn’t agree more, and it is his daughter’s loss.
While Mr. Reissmueller has the right to choose home schooling, I do support OUSD teachers’ union President David Reger in calling for Reissmueller’s resignation.
To be a trustee is to work for the students and for the schools.
Having taken his child out of Orange Unified, Reissmueller has given the district a vote of no confidence and, in my opinion, is incapable of working in the best interests of our children.
To work toward privatization of our district also is to work against the district and students.
Please resign, Mr. Reissmueller, before a recall is necessary.
