NASA Extends Rockwell Contract
SEAL BEACH — Rockwell International Corp.’s aerospace division has signed a $1.4-billion agreement with NASA that extends its contract at the Kennedy Space Center for as long as 10 years.
Under the contract, the division of the Seal Beach-based defense firm will continue to repair and supply parts for the space shuttle orbiters. The work will be done by about 900 employees at company-operated facilities in Cape Canaveral, Fla.
