Micro Motors Inc.: The Santa Ana maker of tiny pneumatic motors for the dental and medical industries said Thursday that it has tentatively agreed to be purchased by Pro-Dex Inc. of Boulder, Colo.

Terms of the deal have not been worked out, according to a spokeswoman for Pro-Dex, a dental products and services firm with annual sales of about $8 million.

Under the agreement, Micro Motors, a privately held company with 68 employees and yearly sales of about $8 million, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro-Dex. The purchase is expected to be completed early next year.
