HUNTINGTON BEACH : Local Channel to Air Candidates Forums

The city’s HBTV-3 will broadcast the League of Women Voters’ council candidates forum at 5:30 p.m. today.

The forum, held in the City Council chambers, will also be broadcast at 8 a.m. Friday, 10 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. Sunday, 10 a.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. Oct. 27, 1 p.m. Nov. 4, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 1 p.m. Nov. 6.

In addition, the local station will broadcast statements from each of the 22 City Council candidates throughout October and November.

Airdates are 10 a.m. today, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28, 1 p.m. Oct. 29, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30, 10 p.m. Nov. 2, 10 a.m. Nov. 3, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 4, 1 p.m. Nov. 5 and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 6.

The forums for Huntington Beach Union High School District candidates and Ocean View School District candidates are being rebroadcast through Nov. 5. Residents can check the station’s television guide for dates and times for both of the forums.

HBTV-3 will provide live election coverage on Nov. 8 beginning at 9 p.m.
