Hart Gets Additional Tickets for Canyon Game

With tickets for Friday’s football game between Hart and Canyon highs already sold out at Hart, Canyon officials Wednesday gave an additional 200 tickets to Hart.
A total of 4,000 tickets will be sold on an advance-only basis for the expected standing-room-only sellout at Canyon’s stadium between the Foothill League rivals.
The 1,500 tickets allotted to visiting Hart were sold by Tuesday.
Canyon still had 600 of its 2,500 on Wednesday, when Bob Messina, Canyon associated student body director, gave up one-third of them.
Valley College (5-0) is ranked fifth in the state junior college football poll with Moorpark (3-1) 13th and Ventura (3-1) 16th.
Moorpark secured a berth among the top 20 with a 23-20 upset of Bakersfield on Saturday.
