McNair Doesn’t Meet Heisman Qualification
Nice story by Gene Wojciechowski on Steve McNair (Oct. 2), but you just don’t get it about the Heisman. It was designed for big plays in big games, not for big plays in defenseless leagues. It’s not about race or about live TV.
Kordell Stewart and Napoleon Kaufman, so far, have met the big-game test.
