California Home Sales Seen Rising Next Year: Sales of existing, single-family homes in California should increase 4.5% in 1995 to 486,000 from an expected 465,000 in 1994, according to a forecast by the California Assn. of Realtors. The realty group also predicted that the median state price for a single-family home in 1995 would increase 1% to $187,000 from 1994’s projected $185,100. The group based its predictions on expected job growth, stable interest rates and increasing consumer confidence as the state pulls itself out of recession.
