SEASON AT A GLANCE: Anderson is the leader of a young team that reached the quarterfinals of the Southern Section Division IV playoffs in 1993. Anderson, a starter at middle blocker since her freshman year, had 45 kills and 15 blocks and was named to the all-tournament team in the San Luis Obispo Tournament earlier this season.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Anderson had 31 kills, 10 blocks and 10 aces in the Indio Tournament as the Regents defeated Palm Desert, 15-9, 4-15, 15-2, in the final Saturday. La Reina dominated pool play, outscoring opponents, 66-9. “We all played real well this weekend, but it really doesn’t matter to me if we play great now and lose in the first round of the playoffs,” Anderson said.
