COSTA MESA : Orange Coast to Offer Adoption Workshop
A workshop designed for persons interested in child adoption is being offered by the Orange Coast College community services office.
The non-credit class, entitled “Adoption Option,” is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 24 in the Lewis Applied Science Building.
The instructors are Nancy Miller Salzman, an attorney and adoptive mother, and Elizabeth Knego, a licensed clinical social worker. Among the topics explored will be the pros and cons of various adoption choices, short- and long-term ramifications, and the legal process.
The workshop registration fee is $29 for individuals or $45 for couples. Orange Coast College is at 2701 Fairview Road. For more information, call (714) 432-5880.
