They can’t tabulate World Cup statistics enough. A recent survey from Dallas reports that, while the German team stayed at the posh Mansion on Turtle Creek, the players demanded lots and lots of cornflakes.
The Germans, apparently, wolfed the flakes down by the caseload.
Also, in the 36 hours the Germans stayed at the mansion, they consumed 32 cases of Perrier and six cases of apple juice.
The Saudis? Statistics now available reveal the Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas booked 36 rooms from the 49-man entourage.
Three of the rooms were set aside for prayer. Each player reportedly visited one of the three rooms daily to face Mecca.
