BRIEFLY : Scholarships: 2 UCLA Student-Athletes Awarded

Two UCLA student-athletes, diver David Fleck and volleyball player Julie Bremner, were awarded NCAA Postgraduate scholarships to continue their studies in law and medicine, respectively.

Fleck, an All-American diver, majored in political science with a 3.6 grade-point average and will attend UCLA’s Graduate School of Law this fall. Bremner, an All-American setter and physiological science major with a 3.4 GPA, will attend either UCLA or USC Medical School this fall.

Both recipients were given a $5,000 stipend for tuition.
