VENTURA : Extra Trash to Be Picked Up at No Cost

As part of a once-a-year service, Harrison Industries will accept additional curbside trash from Ventura customers between Monday and July 15 at no additional cost, company officials announced.
On their regularly scheduled collection days, garbage trucks will pick up the equivalent of two extra 35-gallon barrels or bags, or the same amount of bundled brush.
Ventura customers can also arrange disposal of large items, such as furniture or appliances, which will be picked up at half the normal cost, officials said. Arrangements must be made at least one day in advance.
