Drive-By Attack Kills 1, Injures 1
SANTA ANA — An 18-year-old was killed and another man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday.
Witnesses told police that two youths in a blue car drove up to a carport in the 300 block of East Walnut Street at 1 p.m. and the driver got out, yelled the name of a gang and fired several shots.
Guillen Rolando of Santa Ana who was standing in the carport, was dead on arrival at Western Medical Center. Racardo Solis, 20, was treated for gunshots wounds to the head, police said. His wounds were not life-threatening, police said.
Police had made no arrests Tuesday night.
