Eunice Choi of Dove Canyon lost to Erin O’Neil of Zephyrhills, Fla., 2-up, in the round of 16 of the U.S. Women’s Public Links tournament Friday in Canton, Ohio.

Choi, one of 32 golfers to advance to match play, defeated Maria Maldonado of Buies Creek, N.C., 4 and 3, before losing to O’Neil. The championship concludes Sunday at the 5,802-yard Tam O’Shanter Golf Course.
