DANA POINT : Headlands Flowers Focus of Slide Show
- Share via
The wildflowers that grow in the Headlands area will be the subject of a slide show Saturday at the Dana Niguel Library.
The Dana Point Headlands Conservancy, which formed last year to preserve the Headlands, will present the slide show at 1:30 p.m. at the library, 33841 Niguel Road.
There will also be a preview of items such as hand-painted ceramic plates that will be raffled at the group’s August fund-raiser.
The conservancy, which has a mailing list of 600, intends to buy the land to prevent it from being overdeveloped.
Also at Saturday’s meeting, the conservancy will hear a progress report on its negotiations to buy the land.
For more information, call the conservancy at (714) 248-5243.
