Enowitz Selected Coach at Reseda

RESEDA — David Enowitz, who played for Jeff Halpern while attending Grant High in the early 1980s, will replace Halpern as boys’ basketball coach at Reseda.

Enowitz, 26, spent the past five seasons as a varsity assistant at Grant.

Reseda finished 18-2 last year but lost several starters, including two who earned college scholarships.

Enowitz will transfer from Madison Junior High in North Hollywood to Reseda, where he will teach social studies.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” Enowitz said.

“It’s a great situation. There’s some rebuilding to do, but (the program) has a strong winning tradition.”
