The state’s third-largest loan-servicing firm will move its headquarters to Glendale late this summer.
Imperial Thrift & Loan Assn. will leave its Burbank location in August to move into the 17,265-square-foot sixth floor of an office building at 700 N. Central Ave. in Glendale’s central business district.
A savings branch operated by the thrift will also occupy 6,257 square feet of the eight-story building’s ground floor.
The 20-year-old firm’s lease at its new location begins Sept. 1. The company--which reported assets of $500 million in May--leased the site for $7 million over a 12-year period.
The firm decided to move to Glendale from its location at 300 E. Magnolia Blvd. because it plans to expand its operations by one-third, said Gary Brent, senior vice president of savings and administrative services.
