Doctors Remove 156-Pound Tumor From Texas Woman

DALLAS — A woman who was terrified of hospitals delayed getting an ovarian tumor removed, and when her family finally got her to agree to surgery last month it had grown to 156 pounds. Evelyn Geffers, 63, of San Angelo, Tex., says she wants to learn to roller skate with her grandchildren now that doctors have cut her weight in half by removing the benign growth.
