HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP : San Marcos Topples Agoura in the 24th

In a Southern Section Division I softball playoff game that was continued from Tuesday, Stefanie Christoferson scored on a single by Jennifer Gamberdella in the 24th inning to give visiting San Marcos High a 2-1 victory over Agoura.
The Chargers (17-9) scored with two out in the bottom of the seventh on a delayed steal of home by Elyse Frank on a two-strike count to force the extra innings.
Darkness forced a postponement after the 19th inning.
San Marcos faces Newbury Park today in a Division I quarterfinal.
TENNIS
Second-seeded Dylan Mann of Taft High and James Oh of Chatsworth won their quarterfinal singles matches in the City Section championships at The Racquet Centre in Studio City and will meet in the semifinals on Tuesday.
