The Splash, Anaheim’s new entry in the Continental Indoor Soccer League, will compete in the MGM Soccer Shoot-Out Sunday and Monday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The exhibition tournament will include four CISL Western Conference members--the Splash, Arizona Sandsharks, San Diego Sockers and host Las Vegas Dustdevils--as well as Furati de Tijuana, an indoor team from Mexico.
Play in the round-robin event begins at 3 p.m. Sunday when the Splash plays Las Vegas. The Splash is scheduled to play twice Sunday and twice Monday, with games shortened to four 10-minute quarters.
In the tournament final at 6 p.m. Monday, Las Vegas will play the team with the best record of the other four.
