STANTON : Man Found Shot to Death in Car

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man found Sunday in the back seat of a car in the 7300 block of Syracuse Street.
“It’s a very strange case at this point,” said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Dan Martini.
Authorities have not been able to link the man, who has not yet been identified, to the 1985 Toyota in which he was found or to the neighborhood.
“It doesn’t appear that the shooting occurred at that location,” Martini said.
The body was discovered when a neighbor called to report that the car had not been moved in two days.
