Titans Complete Sweep of UNLV
Cal State Fullerton finished its three-game Big West Conference series against Nevada Las Vegas with a 3-0 victory Sunday at Cal State Fullerton.
While the Titans didn’t pound Las Vegas as in the previous two games, they got a lift from Dante Powell, who had a triple and three runs batted in.
The Titans have swept UNLV in their last nine games.
Titan pitcher Dan Ricabal (4-0), who went the distance, had nine strikeouts and gave up five hits.
Fullerton is alone atop the Big West with a 9-3 conference record (31-8 overall). UNLV (23-20, 5-7) is second in conference.
