Convicted Wife Killer Takes New Wife Hostage

LAKEWOOD, Ohio — A man convicted of murdering his first wife 20 years ago released his estranged new wife unharmed Saturday after holding her at gunpoint for more than 10 hours, police said. No one was injured.
The 46-year-old man was to undergo a psychiatric examination before being arraigned today, police said. Police did not release the identities of the man or woman.
The man was convicted of killing his first wife in Columbus and sentenced to 15 years to life, police said, but it wasn’t immediately known when he was released.
