DOWNTOWN : Post Office Opens at Broadway Plaza Mall

Responding to community demand, the U.S. Postal Service has opened a new post office in the Broadway Plaza shopping center.
On the Garden Level near the food court in the mall at 750 West 7th St., the full-service post office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All postal services, except post office boxes, are available.
The new post office stemmed from the popularity of a temporary station at Broadway Plaza last Christmas, said postal officials.
The area has a strong market base, with 45,000 people employed in the neighborhood during the workweek, and another 10,000 to 15,000 people per day who pass through the area for shopping and various services, Steinberg said.
