EAST LOS ANGELES : Center to Assist in Green Card Renewals
- Share via
The Immigration and Naturalization Service has announced an April 27 one-stop immigration and education center for people to renew their green cards.
The center, at 3600 Whittier Blvd., will provide Eastside residents a chance to avoid lines at the Downtown Federal Building as they renew their permanent residency cards. Federal law requires residents with cards issued before 1978 to exchange their old identification for a new one.
The center will process cards for $35 compared to the INS fee of $70. The center will be open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Reservations are encouraged: (213) 268-8472.
