South Gate 1, Locke 0--Edgar Marquez’s sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning drove in the winning run as visiting South Gate defeated Locke in a Southeastern Conference game Thursday.
Locke threatened in the fifth with runners on second and third with one out, but Richard Alcantar, who had six strikeouts, struck out the next two batters.
