Juan Carlos Rodriguez should have traded in his batting helmet for a drum major’s hat.

The senior shortstop led a Roosevelt hit parade, going four-for-five with two RBIs in a 14-0 victory over Garfield in a Southeastern Conference game at Roosevelt.

Roosevelt, which pounded out 16 hits, scored nine of its 14 runs in the first three innings.
