In other Division I quarterfinals:
Capistrano Valley 3, Claremont 1--Previously unbeaten and second-seeded Claremont led, 1-0, with 10 minutes remaining before the Cougars rallied. Lindsay Light scored, then assisted on Kim McKay’s goal to give host Capistrano Valley (21-4-3) a 2-1 lead. Sarah Hannay also scored for the Cougars. Allison Lott scored in the first half for Claremont (25-1-2)
The Cougars will face the winner of third-seeded Peninsula and Royal in a semifinal game Tuesday.
