SANTA ANA : Retirement Seminar to Examine Finances

Rancho Santiago College will offer a seminar on retirement tonight featuring discussion of financial planning and the top 20 retirement communities.
Nearly 80% of Americans now live beyond 65 years, and the seminar is designed to help those beyond retirement age maintain their financial security.
Topics will include comparison of home prices in various states, relocation costs, taxes and small-town living, spokesman Dale Ruhe said.
Emphasis will be placed on the states of Arizona, Montana, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.
The seminar will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. in Room U-204D of the college, at 17th and Bristol streets. There is a $20 fee for the seminar.
