LILLEHAMMER, Norway — Tim Tetrault of Norwich, Vt., who competes on the U.S. Nordic combined team, slipped on the ice in downtown Lillehammer on Saturday night and suffered a broken left leg.
Tetrault, who had finished 30th in the individual Nordic event--it combines ski jumping and cross-country skiing--was also scheduled to compete in the team version of the event, starting Wednesday.
He was treated by the U.S. team’s medical staff, who X-rayed the injury and put a cast on Tetrault’s leg.
