OC HIGH / STUDENT NEWS & VIEWS : Cultures in Spotlight

At Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, learning about students from other cultures is one of the focuses of the Kaleidoscope club, reports the student newspaper, the Scarlet Scroll. This month, the club plans guest speakers and dances to highlight Black History Month; last month, Asian cultures were highlighted and events included food tasting and a dragon dance.
The club’s goal is to bring student attention to many different cultures.
