Freedoms: The Role Played by the ACLU

The letter from Andrea Saenz (Times, Feb. 3) was very impressive. It is encouraging to know that there are such young people who are aware of their freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution and are courageous enough to be outspoken about them.
Saenz may be interested to know that there exists an organization called the American Civil Liberties Union. One purpose of the ACLU is to offer legal assistance, when possible, to those who are willing to defend our Bill of Rights.
