NEW YORK — As Tonya Harding flew to Norway on Tuesday to skate in the Olympics, her mother, LaVona Faye Golden, collapsed on the set of “The Montel Williams Show” and was taken to a hospital.
Golden, 54, fainted at about 1:30 p.m. EST, shortly after the taping in Manhattan, said Jennifer Geisser, a publicist for the syndicated talk show.
Golden was taken to a St. Clare’s Hospital, which said she had been admitted for observation and was in stable condition. No other details were disclosed.
