WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Huskies Snap USC’s Streak

Tara Davis scored seven points during a 17-4 run early in the second half to lead No. 15 Washington to a 63-55 Pacific 10 Conference victory over No. 4 USC Saturday night at Seattle.
Washington, 16-3 and 8-2 in the Pac-10, broke a six-game losing streak against the Trojans. USC (17-2, 10-1) had its 11-game winning streak snapped.
Davis, who tied a career high with 19 points, made seven of 11 shots, including three of four three-point baskets. Lisa Leslie led the Trojans with 20 points and had 13 rebounds.
UCLA 81, Washington State 74--The Bruins used an 18-2 run to erase a 51-49 deficit and take control with a 67-53 lead in the Pac-10 game at Pullman, Wash.
Natalie Williams led UCLA (12-8, 7-4) with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Detra Lockhart added 20 points.
Camille Thompson led the Cougars (7-12, 2-8) with 19 points.
